Alright Kids!

Okay, so I've got an actual update for you all today! Are you excited? You should be! Fasten your seatbelts and please keep your hands and arms inside the vehicle at all times...
Last Monday night we went to have an FHE with a family in our ward named the Espanas. They are a really cool family, we played Don't Eat Pete with them. Which is basically a game just to see how many marshmallows you can eat. Not like Chubby Bunny, but close. It was so funny. Their daughter Michi was hilarious! She loved it and she stole the entire bag of Marshmallows afterwards and just kept eating them all night. We also went there last night and had dinner, we ended up playing mind-games for way too long, but it was still fun.
During the week we went to heart-attack some members houses. At first it was just really not working out. We went way out of our area to heart-attack a house then we couldn't get into the building because we couldn't card the door. Haha we are such robbers. Anyways, but it was not working out. So we went home to get some addresses, then we went back out and we get to this house and we can't get it. I was about to abandon everything, but then the card worked and we got in. It was so fun, so we finished all the other houses. Later a couple of nights, one of the people we heart-attacked told us how much she loved it and how it just made her day. She was so happy and it was good to know that it actually helped someone.
We went to visit an older lady named Cleotilde, we were going to be really early, but she seemed able, so I was like it will be fine we can just go. We went and there was no answer. So we called her and left a message and then left. Right as we got on the train her daughter called. She was SO MEAN! She was so mad that we were calling her Mom's phone and was like, NO ONE TALKS TO MY MOM WITHOUT TALKING TO ME! She was so mean. She even told us, I am a mean old lady and I will do whatever I want. We ended up going back anyways, and her daughter was still so mean. BUT LUCKILY her visiting teacher came and visited her during so it was okay. Cleotilde is a 91 year old lady who is blind in one eye and can't remember anyone. She lives with her daughter who takes care of her. Her daughter was like, "Mom likes to make me angry.." and her mom just started laughing and laughing. It was true. Haha
Zone meeting was this week and we had a get-to-know-you game because there are a bunch of new people. We played hot seat where you ask one person whatever questions you want and they have to answer them. The elders kept asking everyone if they fold or crinkle their toilet paper when they use the bathroom it was hilarious. We would ask someone if they had a girlfriend then right after be like.. okay how many? It was really funny.
On Friday night we had a Game night at the church. We had a bunch of games, food and pinatas. It was so funny to see all the kids and some adults rush the pinatas when the candy fell. I have it on video, I will upload it some time. It was really crazy, but everyone loved it. The kids couldn't get the pinata to break so when they got a piece of it, they went crazy and pulled it down from the basketball hoop in the gym. So one of the Hermanos took the pinata and started running everywhere with it so the kids wouldn't kill it.
We met with a less active named Alicia this week. She hasn't been to church in like 2 years and she doesn't really have the desire to go back. BUT she is really nice. I had the feeling that she didn't understand the scriptures and so I asked her if she did and she said, not really. So we committed her to meeting with us once a week and studying with us. I have so much love for her. Mainly because I want for her what I have. I want her to know that she can find ALL of her answers in the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon.
Margaret is another less active we meet with regularly. The house she lives in is really not good. The people she lives with keep calling the police on her for no reason and she is having a lot of problems. So we started to talking to her about loving her enemies and how the atonement makes everything okay. and she got so MAD. She started yelling at me. Then Sister Sanchez calmed her down and in the end she prayed and asked for forgiveness and help, and it was just so cool to see the repentance process work so quickly in her. She really loves the gospel she just needs a new perspective.
I met this girl named Gizem this week, but it's too long of a story to tell and I don't have enough time to tell it. Just know it was an amazing experience and I will try and write about it next week. Sorry this is kind of choppy, just know I love you all!
