She Took A Hike

Once upon a time there was this girl...

Who was trying to keep her mind off of things.

So she went up to the mountain and hiked.

This certain girl had not exercised in a while, and it was a lot harder hike then she had anticipated. Of course, being the girl she is, she had been on worse. So she saddled up for the long hall. Nothing would stop her until she reached the top.

And reach the top she did.

She sat for a couple of moments and just thought about her aching legs and if her shin splints would be coming back in the morning.

Then she was puzzled by the door on the side of the mountain. Who puts a door there? She thought, we like to suppose they have good enough reasons.

Then she remembered the view she had.

And became a 'G' all over again.

On her way down, she followed behind a young child who had shoes on that were 3 sizes too big. The shoes where also untied. He was running down the hill like nobody's business. It reminded her that children are fearless. Then she thought,

When does it end?

When do we start to be so cautious?

In the end, her mind wound back around her previous thoughts, because nothing could keep them away at a time like this.

With a prayer in her heart.

She started home.
