Farewell!

Dear Vegas,

Thank you so much for being my home for the past 18 years. You have been great to me! You have helped me grow in so many ways. Like when I was in elementary school you blessed me with hot summer days and ice cold swimming pools. When I moved on to middle school you taught me how tough this world could be. In high school you gave me experience and you trusted me with warm summer nights that lasted forever. You never froze me out in the winter and you always suprised me once every 5 years with a little bit of snow! Thank you for that.

You kept me out of a bubble *cough*Provo*cough* wow sorry about that... You taught me what really happens in the world. I sincerely thank you for all your dirty billboards, they have helped me make my desicion. Also, the strip, how could I not thank you for that! Endless smoke filled casinos and crazed creepers lining it's sidewalks!!! It was a blast! But, I can't say all bad things about it, there are some pretty good ice cream shops and rollercoasters!

Remember the times when I would ride the streets of Vegas on my bike? I will never forget the day Blair got chased down by a huge German Sheperd on the way to school. SO FUNNY! Oh ok, here is a good one... how about those early mornings when I would skip seminary freshmen year and walk around with my OH SO HAWT boyfriend! Or the times I would ditch school with Danielle and do nothing all day long! I think one of my best memories will be graduation day! Thank goodness for your awesome hotels! Remember the night me and all of my best girl-friends stayed in the presidential suite at the Mariott?!! We blasted music all night and danced on tables! It was amazing. Especially waking up to that beautiful steaming hot morning looking out off the balcony at the city. It was amazing! (honestly)

Now, I am moving to Utah. YES! UTAH! I know what your thinking... DANG MORMONS!
You are right. It's just that, for how much I love the ridiculously hot weather and the city lights... I love the trees and stars and sunny days of Utah that much more. I really will miss this place, and it will always be my first home. No it's not as glamorus as some people say... I have yet to live in a casino, or get married in a drive-thru... but I will always love this place! Thanks for holding my heart and raising me to know better. You are the best.
