Karaoke Nights

On Tuesday nights in Orem, there is a party going on at Applebee's. I remember the days when Applebee's was fine dining, and my Aunt and Uncle would take me and my cousin their when we would have sleepovers at their house. I would always order the mac and cheese. It was BEYOND delicious. Tonight though, I ordered the Triple Chocolate Molten Cake. Oh it was delicious. What is special about Tuesday nights at Applebee's is that it is free karaoke for anyone in the restaurant. Did I sing? Is that even a question? I had two of my girl friends up there with me while we belted out "I want you to want me" by Cheap Trick. I love that song.

It seriously, is so much fun. The people I went with, made it ten times better. Not only THAT I saw two of my friends I haven't seen in forever, Brandt and Scott. Dude, those boys make me laugh so hard. They are the best. Plus, I got to sit next to a bunch of beautiful girls and of course, plenty of good-lookin' men. It was AWESOME.

Something crazy though, the DJ guy, has the SAME EXACT voice as my friend Trent, from Apart of Him (you know, that awesome blog in my sidebar) yeah... it was creepy. I kept thinking, is Trent here? No.. it's just this other dude who is not at all like him, except for the way he sounds and talks. My favorite line from him all night, "You know... we ARE in Cougar town, here is the prettiest Cougar in town, performing tonight (yadda yadda yadda)" It was hilarious. If you don't Karaoke, change your lifestyle now and go! It is the most fun you will ever have, especially if you are a horrible singer, because pretty much everyone else is too! I loooooveee it!
