Older Guys Digg Me

Anyways, so I was at my sisters house this morning and I was talking to her about my on-going flirtation with this guy. So here is the story.
The other day I went to the US Bank in Vons to get my check cashed from work. I go up to the teller and it is this older guy.. I would say between 28-30. He is pretty good looking, but not like WOW holy dang, hold me back this man is HAWT. So I chose him to go to, because I mean srsly... why not? I walk up to him and he is like What can I do for you? I just toss him the check and my ID and say I need this cashed. Then he asks me If I bank there and I'm like NO sorry, I know there is a 5 dollar charge but it's whatever. Then he stopped everything he was doing and was like Why not? You should bank with us!! I told him my scenerio, that I was moving and I was about to go open a new bank account elsewhere. He then proceeded to ask me all about myself. You know the basic "GET TO KNOW YOU QUESTIONS"

What college is there?
What is your Major?
I told him my Major and he was like REALLY? Elementary Education? Good, the world needs good teachers like you. I could have sworn he winked after I said that. Then he went off on this tangent about how nice Utah is and I told him that it was amazing. Ten times better then Nevada, blah ditty blah blah. I walked off gave him a smile and went on with my day. What a peculiar guy was my thoughts.
FAST FORWARD to yesterday. Alix and I head into Vons to get some chicken for dinner. We pay for our shtuff and on our way out I see him. The US Bank Guy. We make eye contact and BAM he gives me the "Head Nod"! You all know what I am talking about, when a guy looks at you from across the room and lifts his head just a little bit and smirks. (because he is dashing, **or so he thinks** and he can pull it off.) It took me three seconds to reply, I said Hey, because the head nod thing just isn't my thing. He asked me how I was doing and I kept walking and said, Good How about you? and he said fine. Then I was out the door. WEIRD US Bank guy is totally hitting on me...
TODAY I run into Vons to pick up Jordan's Prescriptions and I see that US Bank is closed. I am reliefed but sadnend at the same time. I mean, he is ALOT older then me, but it's kind of cool to have someone to flirt with. (HAHA I am so lame.) All is well, I pick up the prescription and on my way out there he is! He gives me another head nod and a smirk. Seriously now, what do I do? Smile back of course, and then boogie out the store like it's 1999 because it is awkward!
Who knows what will happen, but seeing as I don't have any other guys flirting with me.. I think I will settle with the old man at the bank. I mean what is age anyways? Right? haha

Remember THIS post? About how I am partially deaf. Well I had another one of those situations again the other day at FHE. I met this guy, poor guy. He had been off his mission for 4 days and he had to ride in my car with me. I have never had someone sit so far from me in my life. I was talking to him, but since I am not used to his voice yet, I couldn't understand anything he was saying. So I kept asking him to repeat himself and after a while, he just didn't talk to me as much. It was so sad. I felt bad. Maybe I should get that checked out. Either that, or I can learn sign language and just marry another interpreter or someone who is deaf and not have to worry about it! haha I am hopeless sometimes..

i agree 28-30 is kind of old for you...i dated a guy 9 years older than me (its hard, but possible). once you hit 20 the rest of the ages under 30 all seem to mesh together. you DONT want one older than that! theres something wrong with him at that point
ReplyDeletethats what you want though (an older guy) think about it, to marry an RM even now he would have to be THREE years older at least. and you hope he has some school (or a job!) done so lets make that 25. both my cousins married at least 7 years older
